Milne Farleywas the pseudonym of Roger Sherman Hoar
(1887 – 1963), a Massachusetts state senator. He wrote
prolifically for the pulp magazines from the 1920s through the
1940s. Many of his stories were swashbuckling interplanetary
adventures in the Edgar
Rice Burroughs style.
