John
Wood Campbell, Jr.(1910 – 1971) was an American science
fiction writer and editor. He edited Astounding during
SF’s formative “golden age,” publishing the first stories of
many of the genre’s iconic authors including Asimov,
Heinlein
and Sturgeon.
Campbell used the pseudonym Don A. Stuart for many of his
stories.
